12th JeCCo symposium « New technologies: empowering biomedical research »

    9 & 10 December 2019, Paris, France

The Association of Young Researchers of Institut Cochin (JeCCo) is thrilled to present its 12th Symposium entitled “New Technologies: Empowering Biomedical Research” which will be held on 9 and 10 December 2019 in the heart of Paris.

For this 2019 edition, organised by a committee of voluntary PhD students and post-doctoral researchers, all the talks (in English) will take place at ASIEM in the 7th arrondissement.

From a molecular scale to the whole organism, including medicine, this symposium will be a great opportunity to listen to French and International specialists of new, emerging technologies in the context or their research. In addition, the work and expertise of the facilities of Institut Cochin will be highlighted through oral presentations and posters. The symposium will end with a workshop about Bioethics: “Mankind in the face of New Technologies”, potential, limits and stakes in ethical, social and economic matters.

These two days are also an excellent way to discuss on the topic of these new technologies with the speakers and colleagues, among the sponsor stands, delicacies and other refreshments. Conviviality being a key aspect of this symposium, a cocktail dinner will be offered so that you can carry on with your discussions in an even more pleasant atmosphere.

Of course, this symposium is open to everyone (researchers, ITA, students…) from within and outside of the Institute, to maximise the exchanges!

Do not hesitate and book your 9 and 10 December 2019!
