    Résumé

     Our work focuses on the role of endocannabinoid system in regulating different brain processes and behavioral phenomenon. CB1 receptor (the most abundant GPCR in mammalian brain) is the main target for both exogenous and endogenous cannabinoid-mediated modulation of neuronal activities and subsequent brain functions. This talk will focus on the neuroanatomical and subcellular heterogeneity of CB1 signaling, summarizing the main discoveries regarding the differential role of this receptor in different neuronal populations (neurons versus astrocytes, different neuronal types) and in different subcellular compartments (plasma membrane versus mitochondria).
